My fanciest wig  designs that offer a special look when you want something different then my  simple Old World antique designs .Many of the designs shown are designs I began making back in 1977 for French Dolls.  All of these designs are made in English mohair only, so please use my English mohair color chart found  on my website, I offer many colors. Fancy hand sewn wigs take me the longest to make, because each curl is hand made and hand sewn on.  Please note, some of these designs do not work well with a hat over them, I will indicate which wigs work well wearing a hat and which do not shown within red script. I designed many of them without a hat in mind, because many people that collect dolls, do not have a hat for their doll or really want their doll wearing a hat.  My antique Old World designs , shown at the beginning of my website, such as Emma and Mary Margaret, are made for dolls that wear hats or without, and if needed can be combed, but my fancy styles that are shown below, cannot be restyled or combed.

                                                                                                                “  Rachel “

Rachel has a center hair part and hand curled bang. In the back is a large arched braid, inside  are soft chunky curls tucked inside the arched braid that sit flat, like a framed picture.  There are two layers of loose curls falling. Anold style from the past I have brought back to be used on Frnch dolls as well as lady dolls.   Made in sizes 6” inch circumference through size 14” inch cirumference, but not in all colors of English mohair. Do give me two color choices if you can if ordering this wig larger then size 11”.

                                               “Vivian”

Vivian has a center part and many layers of spiral curls falling. Made in sizes 9 to 14” inch circumference

Hat not advised

Vivian is only made from English mohair, please see my English mohair color chart in my menu above.

                                                         “Hope”

Hope has a center part and large spiral bangs. There is a thick full braid that goes across the top of the head, ear to ear, with many loose spiral curls falling past the shoulders.  

Covering each end of the braid, there is a silk bow with handmade paper roses attached , you may order without roses and bows.

Paper roses come in pink as shown, pale lavender or pastel rose pink.

I will only make Hope in sizes 8” inch circumference to size 13” in most English mohair colors, but not all.Some of the shades I have, just do not work for larger sizes, only because the hair is not long enough. Please have two color choices ready when ordering.

Hope is a style from the past I want to bring back for a little  before I retire. This style would look wonderful on a french doll, even a french fashion doll or a German doll.

Bang choice: You may choose spiral as shown, or hand curled ,which is shown on styles Jessica and Opal. If you do not choose a bang style, I will make this style with large spiral bangs. German dolls, best to go with a hand curled bang.

                                                                                           “ Jessica”

                                        Another style I created in the early 80’s  for ladies, or other french dolls.

Jessica has hand curled bangs, hair pulled back with a puff og loose curls at the top, with long spiral curls falling in layers.

                                                   Jessica is made in sizes 8” inch circumference through size 12”.Hat not advised

Shown with spiral bangs, but can also be made with a curled bang.Curled bangs are very popular, they can be seen on styles Victoria, Naomi and Opal. In my opinion, curled bangs work  best on the smaller sizes, and the spiral work best on larger sizes over size 10” inches. Sometimes on a smaller face, the spiral bang can be overwhelming.  Joy has a center part and lots of spiral curls falling past the shoulders. Joy also has a braided bun at the back. A style I have made for over 30 years, and it has been a favorite style cusromers have used on their french dolls and little all bisque dolls. This style will work with a hat on. Joy can be made in size  5” inch circumference through size 14” inch circumference. Joy is made in English mohair only , a chart for these colors are found in my menu above.

My Original style brought back from the 1990’s                                “  Eva”

Layers of loose curls falling. Loose curls brought up at the sides, tied into a knot at the top forming a shorter group of curls falling over longer curls. In this photo I added a bow under the tied knot. Eva has a hand curled bang, a customer favorite over the years. Eva cannot be made. in all colors in larger sizes over size 10" circumference , so do give me first and second  color choices when ordering this  style.

I make Eva in sizes 8” inch circumference through size 12”. inch circumference. Eva is only made from English mohair only.  

                                                                                                    Ariel

Ariel has a center part and long loose layers of spiral curls. Ariel is shown with a spiral bang, but this style can also be ordered with a curled bang as shown on style Victoria Rose.  Most customers prefer the curled over the spiral, in time the spiral bangs will lengthen a little with time.

Ariel is made from English mohair only. Ariel is made in sizes 5” inch circumference through size 14” inch circumference.

Ariel cannot be made in all colors in larger sizes, so please give me two colors choices and I will see what works best. .Ariel does work well with a hat on.
